Top comics I follow

Comics are just another way of expression. Illustrations & Ideas are put down in a creative and appealing format, with characters as the main heroes, the message might be social or plain adult humour, but the fanbase surrounding this is immense. The event 'Comic Con' exhibits the fan following, the love, and respect shown towards comic artists. The fad is slowly catching up in India, the first ever comicon was organized in
the month of December,2013.

My morning always starts with a visit to the website of the webcomic Cyanide & Happiness, a comic written and illustrated by Kris Wilson, Rob DenBleyker, Matt Melvin and Dave McElfatrick. The comic generally portrays funny illustration and ideas on controversial topics including abortion, AIDS etc. The second stop is the comic 'Pearls before Swine' created by a lawyer Stephen Pastis, which deals with adult humor and has been linked to lot of controversy.

I illustrate a series of comics (after trying hard for 3 years on different topics and characters) called as 'Destructive Emotions', from where I seek to pass on the message how negative emotions are bad, in a satirical manner. The series can be found here
